Alex is a very talented left sided winger who was previously at the professional clubs Port Vale FC (tier 4) and Burnley FC (tier 2) as an academy player, the highest level in England. He is currently playing with Mid-Cheshire College and Cheshire Schools FA (state).

He gained a lot of interest at our Men's Assessment day for the coaches that were present, so he is a player we envisage will be on the radar of many coaches.

His academics show that he is an well above average student and he will be finishing his BTEC in June 2013.

Strongest part of his game (according to athlete)

I feel that the strongest area of my game is having the ball at my feet and attacking by either running at players or passing and making runs off the ball, and crossing balls into the box. I have good amounts of pace and fitness and I enjoy working hard while attacking and defending. I am very confident at using both feet and I will not hesitate if the ball is on my weaker side. I do have the ability to score goals as I used to play striker for most of my football career, and was actually a striker at Port Vale as a YTS, but changed positions when realizing I would be better further back.

I love training and I constantly train hard to improve my performance, whether it be fitness levels or football specific. I feel I am always among the fittest and strongest in the teams I have been at because of my training off the pitch and I believe this is very important in sport, and I believe in USA fitness is very important even more so than here in England.
