All American Aqsa Mushtaq Becomes an SRUSA Ambassador

She had a standout student athlete career at Lenoir Rhyne University both on and off the pitch and we are proud to announce that Aqsa Mushtaq has become an ambassador for Sports Recruiting USA.

Aqsa's list of accolades included United Soccer Soccer All American and All Region honours and she was also voted the 2019 South Atlantic Conference Player of the Year. In her final season, Aqsa bagged 13 goals and claimed 4 assists as Lenoir Rhyne secured the Regular Season Conference Title.

Head of Women's Soccer, Jon Maloney, had this to say about Aqsa coming on board;

'Along with having a standout career on the field, Aqsa is a humble and grounded person who has achieved great things off the pitch as well. She is just the type of person we want to have involved at SRUSA and we are proud to welcome her as an ambassador.

As a former client, she has been through the process and will be an invaluable asset when it comes to talking about her experiences to our players and we will be looking to get her involved in as many events as possible.'

Going to America as a student athlete has helped Aqsa develop both on and of the pitch. Below she talks about how SRUSA helped her though the process and what she took from the experience in America.

'Going to America was even better then I could have ever expected. Sports Recruiting USA helped me throughout the process to the find the best possible fit for me in terms of location, school and soccer. They helped me through every step of the process and without them, I would never have found my perfect school in Lenoir Rhyne University where I spent 4 incredible years.

Playing at a high level while getting a degree was all I ever wanted and that is exactly what I got. I met some amazing people on my journey and they have helped me reach goals that I didn't even know were possible. I cannot thank Jon and the whole team enough for everything they did for me and I look forward to helping players to live their dreams as student athletes.'

Aqsa is the prime example of what a student athlete should be are very proud to have her as part of the SRUSA family.
