Former SRUSA-Elite Client and Student-Athlete, Dan White, joins as a scout for SRUSA.

SRUSA is excited to announce that former Student-Athlete and SRUSA Elite-Client, Dan White, will be joining the team as a scout for the United Kingdom.

White, joins SRUSA after a successful 4 year period in the US where he represented the men's soccer program’s at Parkland Community College and Oklahoma City University. During his time in the States, Dan was named as an NAIA academic All-American (2018/19), NJCAA academic All-American (2015/16), and a NSCAA academic All-American (2016) whilst also securing a bachelor's degree in Business Marketing.

On his return to the UK, White continues to further his education and footballing career at the University of Nottingham where he is studying for a Masters in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Management and playing for the University 1st Team. As a former SRUSA Elite-Client and Student Athlete, Dan's invaluable experience into the College Soccer System will be vital in helping future athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Here's what Dan had to say about his new role at SRUSA;

What excites you about Joining the SRUSA team?

"I am most excited about helping guide young, talented soccer players through the US College system and providing them with the knowledge/that they need in order to become successful at the top level. I am excited to watch these select players then develop and grow as footballers and people, and monitor their progression throughout the 4 years."

How was your experience in the US, and what advice would you give to others thinking of going down the College Soccer route?

"My four years in America were the best years of my life. Not only did I get to play football at world class facilities everyday, earn a degree in something I am passionate about, but I also got to travel to places I would have never got the chance to otherwise. It requires hard work both in the classroom and on the pitch but these characteristics will serve you throughout life whatever an individual chooses to go into. "

How do you think your experience as a College Soccer Athlete will help you in your new role as a SRUSA Scout?

"Having played at two different university’s during my four years in the US, I can now draw on my own personal experiences as a scout for SRUSA which will enable me to identify young athletes that would adapt well to the student athlete life and flourish over in the states."

What are your expectations upon joining the SRUSA team?

"My expectations upon joining the SRUSA are quite simple. To aid the growth of the company in anyway I can to help it become the top recruitment agency available to future student-athletes"

Welcome to the #SRUSAFamily Dan.
