We are very proud to say that SRUSA Elite Client Matty Ward, will be signing a professional contract with English Professional Club, Ipswich Town FC, at the end of the season.
Matty, who has lived in China, for many years, came to our SRUSA College Prep Camp, in Georgia, USA, in July 2018, where he then signed with our SRUSA Elite service to provide him College Soccer opportunities after High School if the pro dream never happened.
Matty moved to England in 2019 and has been trialling with clubs and found a club that liked him and he liked them. Ipswich Town.
So a big congratulations to Matty. He's worked hard, put in the miles, and had a sensible backup if it didn't work out.
