U.S. Men's Soccer Pyramid

The U.S. Soccer 'pyramid' can be confusing and unlike anywhere in the world, with no promotion/relegation.

The 'top tier' professional league, and most well-known is Major League Soccer (MLS).

Below that is another two tiers of professional leagues, with the USL Championship, then below that USL League 1, NISA, and MLS Next Pro.

After that are the amateur leagues. The most notable are USL League 2, NPSL, and UPSL. These leagues are mainly full of collegiate players.

'Below' that are the college soccer associations, NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA, NCCAA, and USCAA.

If you've got any questions about any of these don't hesitate to get in touch.
